Our school follows the National Curriculum for schools in England. Why should we change to Cambridge Primary?

If your school follows the National Curriculum used in England, Cambridge Primary can provide a valuable addition to your school. The Cambridge Primary Progression Tests for in–school use can be used to track your learners’ progress compared with learners in international schools around the world, and the diagnostic software allows you to produce reports on learners’ strengths and areas for development, to feed back into learning. In addition, membership of Cambridge Primary allows schools to enter candidates for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint which offers comprehensive feedback on learners’ achievements over the primary stage.

Cambridge Primary has a similar model and covers similar material to the National Curriculum, which allows you to administer the two curricula alongside one another or just use the Cambridge curriculum with the knowledge that learners would easily be able to transfer back to schools in the UK. Following the National Curriculum would provide learners with the knowledge and skills they require to succeed in the Cambridge tests; similarly, following the Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks would provide learners with the foundations they need to take UK Key Stage tests.
